Piano-Study Popular Songs, Classical, Jazz & Blues, & Improvisation. Learn "faking" techniques and patterns (Stride piano, Bossa Nova, Ballad, Walking Bass/Swing & Fast Rock) with chords/chord scales, chord substitutions, turnarounds, walk-ups, and endings.
Voice-Learn Proper Technique, Breath Support, Pitch, Vocal Inflections, and Ear Training. Develop Flexibility and expand your vocal range . Vocal exercises and ear training drills are recorded each class for home practice. Varied styles are studied to develop versatility, appreciation, and feel.
Play Piano & Sing-Learn the art of Playing Piano or Keyboard while singing. This is what the studio specializes in. Popular songs, Rock Songs, Jazz Standards, & Musical Theatre styles are studied.
Flute-learn the basics thru advanced classical and jazz studies.
Guitar-learn basics thru intermediate level.
There are thousands of self made "note for note" transcriptions and arrangements of Popular Songs in which my students can choose to learn from. If it isn't in the library, we'll learn it and notate it for class. Furthermore, students learn the art of "transcribing and notating" all their favorite songs.
